Who can enter Throwr raffles and competitions?

No account is required. You can purchase raffle tickets as a guest using your name and email address at checkout. Your email is used to send your entry confirmation and to contact you if you win.

Why do I have to answer a skill question?

UK law requires competitions and raffles to include a free-entry route or a genuine element of skill to avoid being classified as a lottery. Our skill questions ensure Throwr operates legally and fairly. The questions are darts-related and straightforward — if you're unsure, have a go!

Can I enter more than once?

Yes. You can purchase multiple ticket tiers in a single transaction (1, 2, 5, or 10 tickets). Each ticket is a separate entry in the draw, so buying more tickets increases your chances of winning.

How much do tickets cost?

Raffle tickets start from £1 each. Ticket prices and available quantities are clearly shown on each raffle page before you proceed to checkout.

How do I pay?

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. You can pay by debit or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe — Throwr never sees or stores your full card number.

Will I receive a confirmation?

Yes. After a successful payment you will be redirected to a confirmation page and receive an email confirmation of your entry. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

Ticket purchases are non-refundable once a draw has taken place. If a raffle is cancelled before the draw, all ticket holders will receive a full refund to their original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please contact us if you have a payment query.

How is the winner chosen?

Winners are selected using Node.js's built-in crypto.randomInt — a cryptographically secure random number generator (CSPRNG). This means the draw is provably fair and tamper-proof. Every ticket has an exactly equal chance of being selected.

When does the draw take place?

Each raffle has a closing date and draw date shown on its page. The draw is run after the closing date once all entries have been verified. Winners are announced on the Winners page and contacted directly by email.

What happens if a raffle doesn't sell all its tickets?

The draw still takes place on the scheduled date regardless of how many tickets have been sold. Unsold tickets are not entered into the draw — only purchased tickets are eligible to win.

Can I verify the draw was fair?

Yes. Our admin dashboard records the winning ticket number, total entries, and draw method for every completed raffle. Draw audit information is available on request — contact us via the Contact page.

How will I know if I've won?

Physical prizes (darts equipment, merchandise) are sent by tracked courier to a UK address. Cash prizes are transferred by bank transfer. Winners have 28 days to claim their prize before it is forfeited and a redraw takes place.
